Our Approach

Combining microbiome science, inclusive research, and community-centered innovation to advance GBT wellness.

One Community.
Many Health Journeys.

Gay, bisexual, and transgender men navigate a range of healthcare experiences, including HIV prevention, HIV treatment, Doxy-PEP, and other long-term wellness considerations.

Despite these important experiences, limited research has explored how they may relate to microbiome health.

Our approach begins with listening, learning, and generating new scientific insights that better reflect the communities this study is designed to serve.

Research Before Solutions

We believe meaningful innovation begins with understanding.

The MyPrideBiome Study was created to help generate data, identify patterns, and deepen understanding of microbiome health among gay, bisexual, and transgender men.

Every future innovation begins with better questions, better representation, and better data.

Inclusive Research

Building a dataset that better reflects GBT experiences.

Microbiome Analysis

Leveraging advanced microbiome science and sequencing technlogies.

Long-Term Discovery

Generating insights that may inform future wellness innovations.

Designed for Everyday Wellness

Our first wellness platform is being developed as a convenient powdered drink mix informed by microbiome science, participant insights, and ongoing research.

The goal is simple:

To make future microbiome innovation more accessible, approachable, and inclusive.

Why the Microbiome?

The microbiome influences numerous biological systems throughout the body, including digestion, metabolism, immune function, and overall wellness. As scientific understanding continues to evolve, the microbiome represents one of the most promising frontiers in personalized health.
